Brokk Robotic Demolition

Brokk Robotic Demolition

Brokk Robotic Demolition

Special projects require the right equipment, and Cranberry Construction delivers with Brokk demolition robots that can quickly and safely remove materials ten times faster than traditional demolition methods.

Safety, Efficiency, and Versatility

Cranberry Construction promotes a “safety first” philosophy. With that in mind, we understand that not all demolition projects are safe for human workers. By using Brokk robotic demolition equipment, we can surgically and selectively remove materials in spaces and situations that would otherwise put lives at risk. Brokk demolition machines are fully electric with zero emissions so we can perform high-efficiency heavy demolition without creating toxic fumes during interior or confined space projects.

Cranberry Construction and Brokk Robots

  • Interior/confined space excavation and demolition including high rise buildings and subsurface spaces
  • Rooftop demolition
  • Bank vaults
  • Tunnel demolition
  • Subway and train station remediation
  • Water and waste water treatment plant remediation
  • Bridgework (slab removal, bearing removal, and abundant remediation)
  • Tremie pour trimming
  • Slurry wall trimming
  • Concrete stadium bleacher demolition
  • Elevator pits and sumps
  • Underpinning
  • Concrete pool demolition
  • All concrete demolition!
  • And much more!

Power and Productivity

Brokk robots are designed to demolish concrete and rock. The result is a machine that achieves better angles, has a better center of gravity to optimize working in tight or awkward spaces, and stronger hydraulics to support heavy attachments. This equates to a very compact machine that is capable of effectively carrying attachments that would otherwise be used on machines that would be three times its own size.

Options

Brokk robotic demolition equipment has a seemingly endless variety of attachments that can be switched over in minutes, giving us multiple ways to tackle any job. Some of the attachments include:

  • Hydraulic hammers (breakers)
  • Buckets to clean/load debris.
  • Crushers for demolition in areas that are noise restricted.
  • Drum cutters for roughing surfaces for concrete prep or low-vibration concrete removal.
  • Grapples for mechanical demolition and material handling. Great for preventing strains, sprains, and back injuries.
  • Metal shears for cutting angle iron, pipes, and pipe supports during mechanical demolition processes.
  • And many more, such as clamshell buckets, rock drills, rock splitters, and the list continues.

Mobility

Brokk robotic demolition machines are compact, capable of passing through 34-inch doorways while carrying an attachment that a machine many times its size would use. These machines can travel up almost all freight elevators and some passenger elevators, and even climb stairs to reach their target destinations. Their compact size means easier hoisting and a better fit through tight spaces in comparison to conventional equipment. Low ground pressure allows us to put Brokk equipment on suspended or raised slabs where conventional demolition equipment cannot access.
